What Exactly IS Going on in Great Britain?
All over the Blogosphere there have been cries that Great Britain is already lost to Islamofascism. Personally, I'm torn between thinking that incidents there are being blown out of proportion and sincerely worrying about the future of the United Kingdom.
However, there are times when you come across information that, if true, changes your perception and preconceived notions. Today is one of those days. I happened to come across a blogger from the United Kingdom named Curly. You can find his blog "Curly's Corner Shop, the Blog!" here. You can read more about him here. Quite frankly, from what I read, he is one of a dying breed, a right-of-center conservative in the United Kingdom. What attracted me to his blog, however, is the piece here that describes something that I'd expect to find if Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama becomes President. It is truly something out of "1984" or the Third Reich. If it is true at all, it is a true call for reform on all levels. I don't understand how anyone could consider profiling using DNA a good idea, especially when it comes to children. Scary indeed.

Britain does seem to be going down the tubes rapidly, even of a European country. Michael Savage was talking about Britain and the sort of things you're referring to a few months ago. He kept playing Living on a Thin Line by The Kinks.
The first verse:
All the stories have been told

Somehow don't seem to matter very much anymore.

It's a spooky song to listen to. Written in 1984 (coincidence with Orwell's novel?), it seems prophetic.

Thanks for the introduction to the USA, I could use a few more transatlantic readers! I am not from the reactionary right, I'm a libertarian Conservative greatly concerned at the diminishing level of civil liberties after ten years of socialist government.
I live in an area of the UK where voting Labour comes as naturally as getting dressed, so it makes the struggle for freedom of thought, freedom of action, free enterprise, and consumer choice, that much more "interesting".
I agree with your ramblings! What happened to the video link? I had the same one on my website and the link no longer works. I guess someone removed it from YouTube. Do you know another place to find it?
